What is a vehicle wrap?
A vehicle wrap is self-adhesive cast vinyl applied to the bodywork of a car, van or light truck. The vehicle becomes a mobile billboard visible to anyone in the street, on the motorway or at the customer's doorstep. Three formats are common. Partial lettering places logo, phone number and website on the side panels and rear door. Partial wrap covers selected panels in solid colour with overlaid lettering and graphics. Full wrap covers every visible body panel and lets you change the base colour of the vehicle entirely.
For most Rotterdam SMEs a partial lettering or partial wrap delivers the best return. It is cheaper to produce, faster to install, and still highly visible from a distance. A full wrap makes sense when the vehicle is also the brand — food trucks, festival vans, premium service vehicles, customer-facing fleet.
Materials we use
- 3M IJ-series with 3M overlaminate — the industry-standard combination. UV-stable for seven years, conforms to compound curves, removes cleanly.
- Avery Dennison MPI 1105 with DOL laminate — premium alternative with stronger conformability for vans with deep recesses and rivets.
- Hexis Skintac — European cast vinyl, suitable for specialist colours and short-run promotional wraps.

Fleet wrap and brand consistency
Fleet wrap is a programme, not a one-off project. The goal is a consistent brand appearance across every vehicle, regardless of make, model or year. We start with a master design that defines logo placement, lettering hierarchy and colour relationships. Each new vehicle that enters the fleet is wrapped to the same specification, even years later.
Programme deliverables include: master design file in vector format, brand-consistent colour calibration on every wrap, scheduled production and installation to minimise vehicle downtime, removal and re-application at lease end. For fleets of ten or more vehicles we offer an annual maintenance visit to repair stone chips or small damage.
